1. THESE TERMS
1.1 What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we provide our Retreat packages which include accommodation, meals, some exercise classes and only specific inclusive holistic treatments (which together we call “the Retreat” in these terms). Throughout these terms, the treatments and therapies are described as “the Treatments”. The Retreat Guidelines form part of these terms.
1.2 If you are purchasing additional treatments and therapies during your Retreat, these terms do not apply and you should refer to our Treatment and Therapies Terms.
1.3 Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully and check that the details of your booking are complete and accurate before you book with us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide our services to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss.

How to contact us. You can contact us by telephoning our customer service team at +441252 265001 or by writing to us at [email protected] we may contact you. If we must contact you, we will do so by telephone or in writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your booking.
“Writing” includes emails. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails. - OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
3.1 Making additional Treatment bookings during your stay. You may purchase additional holistic, health treatments & consultations during your stay, please see clause 1.2.
3.2 How we will accept your booking. Our acceptance of your booking will take place when we email you to confirm your booking, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. Once you pay your deposit, you agree to and are bound by these terms and conditions. You do not pay a deposit until we have accepted your application to join our retreat.
3.3 If we are unable to accept your application, no charge will be made.
3.4 About you. You confirm the information you have provided on your application form is accurate and correct.
4. THE RETREAT AND ITS GUIDELINES
4.1 Retreat packages. Our website details the many different retreat packages we offer, which includes the combination of accommodation, meals, classes, programme and treatments that are available to book via our website.
4.2 Rooms and elements of our service may vary slightly from their pictures and description. The images and descriptions of the rooms and our services on our website are for illustrative purposes only and are not a guarantee of the exact room or service you will receive on booking. Many of our rooms are individually designed, however the image used on the room booking page will be of the same room type for your booking. Services may vary in accordance with clause 7 (Our Rights to Make Changes).
4.3 Retreat Guidelines. Your booking is subject to our Retreat Guidelines. You confirm that you and any other guests in your booking will abide by our Retreat Guidelines during your stay with us.
4.4 Mechanical / Electrical Breakdowns. Any mechanical or electrical breakdowns at the Retreat during your stay are usually beyond our control, although we will try to have repaired any such fault as soon as possible. We are unable to refund any sums paid unless any such breakdown is due to our fault or negligence.
4.5 Health Benefits or Improvements. We give no guarantee of health benefits or improvements. All services offered are used at your own risk.
4.6 Food. Our meal plans are based on a healthy detox diet. By participating in the Retreat, you confirm that you are in good health and have, if necessary, sought medical advice confirming that you are able to change your diet accordingly.
4.7 Food & Drinks in Room. Food and/or drink may not be taken into your rooms. This is to keep the risk of insects from coming in. A charge may be made to deal with this if this rule is not adhered to.
4.8 Smoking and Vaping
The Retreat’s venue, including our spa gardens and car park are smoke free. A £1500 ‘deep clean charge’ will be automatically added to your account in the event of clients smoking in bedrooms. This deep clean will include the room not being able to be used for a number of days after the room has been vacated.
4.9 Your Health. All those attending consent that they are healthy enough to do so and to take part in all aspects of the programme. If you visit or spend any time in hospital between the time you book (or within 8 weeks of the retreat date if less) you must provide a letter from your consultant or senior medical person to confirm you are fit to travel, attend and participate fully. If you are not able to, you will not be permitted to attend. In such cases, the company will not be liable for any refund.
5. PERFORMANCE OF THE HOLISTIC TREATMENTS
5.1 We will provide you with the Treatments:
5.1.1 only after you have completed the contraindications form (see below); and
5.1.2 in accordance with the description of our Treatments.
5.2 We may provide the Treatments on the basis of individual sessions or over a series of sessions. We believe the best results or benefits are usually only possible if a series of sessions are booked.
5.3 You understand and agree that we are not a medical centre and do not have a resident doctor. By booking the Treatments, you confirm that you do not have any contraindication to obtaining that treatment.
5.4 Short notice cancellation. A short notice cancellation will result in a charge not less than 75% of the original treatment fee if another person does not take the slot you have come out of. ‘Short Notice’ means after 19:00 the previous evening or any time the same day as the treatment.
5.5 You agree to complete our contraindications form before the Treatments are provided. This form asks health questions we need to know before providing the treatment. If you refuse to complete the contraindications form, we will not provide the Treatments and your place on the retreat may be revoked.
5.6 If there is a significant period of time between when you completed the contraindications form and your appointment, we may:
5.6.1 ask you to confirm in writing that the information you provided on the contraindications form remains accurate and that nothing of significance has changed in your medical condition or lifestyle which will affect any Treatments we will provide; or
5.6.2 refuse to provide the Treatments until you have completed the contraindications form.
5.6.3 reserve the right to perform a verbal consultation in the Treatment rooms prior to treatment commencing.
5.7 Treatment Complaint: Should you have valid complaint regarding your Treatment/s, you must notify us within 24hrs after receiving your Treatment.
5.8 Review of the contraindications form. We will review your contraindications form and based on your replies, will confirm whether we can provide the Treatments. If we are unable to provide the treatment as a result of the information provided on your contraindications form, we will do our best to accommodate you by providing a suitable alternative treatment of equivalent value. If we are unable to provide the treatment because of a contraindication which you should reasonably have known would prevent us from providing the treatment, paragraph 5.4 will apply as if you failed to attend the scheduled appointment.
5.9 We are not a medical centre and our Treatments do not constitute medical advice or medical care. Whilst our therapists will seek to take into account your needs and requests when performing the therapies, they are provided for recreational purposes only and we do not guarantee any health benefits or improvements. All Treatments are offered and used at your own risk. Our aim is to provide the Treatments using reasonable care and skill.
6. EXERCISE CLASSES
6.1 We will provide fitness and exercise classes:
6.1.1 only after you have completed the contraindications form; and
6.1.2 in accordance with the description of our classes.
6.2 You shall be required to complete a contraindications form before attending exercise classes during the Retreat. For the purpose of this clause 6, clauses 5.2 to 5.9 shall apply to as though referring to exercise classes instead of treatments.
- YOUR POSSESSIONS
We advise you not to bring valuables onto the retreat. All electronic devices will be handed in upon arrival and will, where possible return these fully charged to you when you leave. We accept no liability for any possessions left unattended during your treatment. - LATE ARRIVALS
8.1 The retreat starts at the published time. We recommend all those attending fly into Faro at least the day before to avoid any delays through late or cancelled flights. This will ensure you will be able to be picked up by the inclusive transfer bus. Any person arriving late will not be entitled to a refund and will still be charged for any treatments, therapies or consultations booked and not attended.
9. PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT, RETREAT PLACE, CORE PACKAGE & TREATMENTS
9.1. Your ‘Retreat Package’ price is as published on the website. This includes your place on the retreat, either your own or shared room (as stipulated on the relevant retreat), inclusive shuttle from nominated hotels/airport, workshops, classes, excursions (where applicable), entertainment (where applicable), food and drink.
Treatments recommended to you in the Core Package are those which our experts have deemed you need to achieve your health goals you have discussed with us. ‘Additional Treatments’ are those you wish to enhance your stay with, booked either in advance or when you are there.
9.2 There is nothing to pay until you have received a telephone consultation with our Clinical Lead, who will discuss with you the reasons you wish to attend and what you would like help with. Once you have had this consultation, your Retreat Package and Core Package will be confirmed. The payment schedule is as follows:
a) A non-refundable deposit of £250 is made at the time of accepting the invitation to attend the retreat and agreement of the Retreat Package and Core Package
b) The balance (the Retreat Package less the £250 deposit) is due 6 weeks before the retreat date. Once this is received, it is non-refundable in the event of being unable to attend.
c) The ‘Core Package’ and any additional treatments you book either before or during your time with us is payable on the last day of the retreat.
9.3. The cancellation terms are fixed and supersede any other terms that may appear on any third party referral website (or otherwise)
10. PRICE
10.1 Where to find the price for the booking. The prices are shown on the relevant retreat page connected to the date you wish to attend.
10.2 What happens if we got the price wrong. It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, your booking may be incorrectly priced. We will regularly check prices before accepting your booking so that, where the booking’s correct price at your booking date is less than our stated price at your booking date, we will charge the lower amount. If the booking’s correct price at your booking date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your booking. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mis-pricing, we may end the contract and refund you any sums you have paid.
10.3. Payments are preferred by bank transfer, however all major credit & debit cards are accepted.
10.4. You are required to hold a valid card on your account to cover the period you are attending the retreat and at least one month thereafter.
11. YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES
11.1 If you wish to make a change to your booking before you have paid the balance of the Retreat Package, please contact us. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible, we will let you know about any changes to the price of the booking, the timing of your stay or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change. You have the right to amend your booking dates only providing you do this no less than 6 weeks before your retreat start date.
11.2 There is a £50 administration charge per guest for all changes to bookings.
12. OUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES
12.1 Minor changes to the booking. We may change your booking to:
12.1.1 reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements, such as providing you with details of food allergens or new health and safety regulations; and
12.1.2 implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a security threat.
12.1.3 These changes will not materially affect your use of the Retreat.
13. YOUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT
13.1 You may end your contract with us in certain circumstances. Your rights when you end the contract will depend on your booking and when you decide to end the contract:
13.2 If you have changed your mind about the booking: to cancel your booking please contact us at least 42 days before the start of your stay. As per clause 9.2a, you will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit
14. HOW TO END THE CONTRACT WITH US
14.1 Tell us you want to end the contract. To end the contract with us, please contact us using the details provided at clause 2.2 and provide your name, booking reference number, details of the booking and your phone number and email address.
15. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
How we may use your personal information. We will only use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
16 FORCE MAJEURE
16.1 “Force Majeure Event” means any circumstance not within a party’s reasonable control including, without limitation: acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster; epidemic or pandemic; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relations; nuclear, chemical or biological contamination or sonic boom; any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition; collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; any labour or trade dispute, strikes, industrial action or lockouts non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors; and interruption or failure of utility service.
16.2 Subject to the below clauses, if we are prevented, hindered or delayed in or from performing any of our obligations under these terms and conditions (as well as any contract formed pursuant to these terms and conditions) or you booking for your stay by a Force Majeure Event, we shall not be in breach of this agreement or otherwise liable for any such failure or delay in the performance of such obligations and this shall not permit nor be cause for the termination of your contract with us, by you, and the payment for your booking/stay shall remain due and payable in full regardless.
16.3 If the Force Majeure Event prevents, hinders or delays our performance of our obligations for the provision of your booking/stay, you shall be permitted to transfer your booking to an alternative date.
17. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
17.1 Travel insurance. It is a condition on the booking that you hold valid travel insurance that also covers cancellation through Covid-19.
17.2 We offer a range of hotels close to the airport, or on the route the transfer bus will take from the airport to the retreat. If you book an alternative hotel outside of this area, you may be required to either take a separate taxi to a convenient pick up point or pay a surcharge where applicable. You will be informed of this when we schedule the pick ups.
RETREAT GUIDELINES
Our Terms and Conditions
You agree to comply with the terms and conditions set out in our Retreat terms and conditions or our Therapies and Treatments terms and conditions, whichever applies to your purchase, and any other terms we inform you of.
Smoking and Vaping
The Retreat’s venue, including our spa gardens and car park are smoke free. A £1500 ‘deep clean charge’ will be automatically added to your account in the event of clients smoking in bedrooms.
Food & Drinks in Room
Food and/or drink (except water) should not be taken into the rooms. Doing so can lead to insects coming into the room, for which there may be a charge of £50 to have this cleaned.
ACCESS TO FACILITIES
Once the end of the day has been reached, guests are expected to go to their own room. In the morning, you will be notified what time the main areas will be open. For safety reasons, you may not enter these areas before this time.
Dress Code
There is no dress code – please see our sections on what to bring so you are most comfortable during your stay.
All guests must arrive at their therapy in a clean and fresh state wearing dry and clean underwear. You agree to remove any make-up before facial treatments.
Electronic Devices
So you can fully focus on your wellbeing without any outside influence, there is a complete digital detox on our retreats. All electronic devices must be handed in upon arrival and these will be returned fully charged (where possible) on departure.
Transfers
Transfers are included from any of the nominated hotels shown on our website. We reserve the right to charge a surcharge if the hotel you book is outside of this area and causes us to incur additional costs. In some cases, it may be necessary for you to take a taxi to one of the hotels either in the nominated area, or a designated pick up location en-route from the hotels to the retreat. The same applies for the return transfer.
Feedback
We love taking care of you – so if something is not going well for you, let a member of the team know and give us the chance to put things right.
Assistance
If you require any assistance during your stay we will be happy to help you. Please let us know as soon as possible of anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.
Illness
All our meal plans are composed of healthy whole foods. We would like to advise all guests that sometimes abstaining from sugar, caffeine and alcohol can cause headaches, feelings of nausea and general lethargy. We recommend that you abstain from these at least two weeks before you arrive at the Retreat to begin your residential package. Please note we will not refund monies due to any illness, lethargy or malaise, or as a result of you deciding to leave our programmes of your own accord.
Health & Wellbeing
Your health and well-being are our paramount concern. We believe that you are the best person to be in control of your health. We ask that you seek professional medical advice about any conditions or concerns you have and act appropriately on this advice.
Before you arrive, you agree that you are well enough and fully able to participate in all elements of the programme – this includes yoga, walking, aqua-fit in the pool, light exercise and meditation. If you cannot, you should discuss this with us prior to accepting an invitation to join a retreat.
Whilst on the retreat, we ask that you let us know if you feel unwell for any reason so we can help. We request that you read and take on board any instructions information or notifications about use of equipment or the contraindications for specific treatments.
Our team of nutritionists, therapists, instructors, yoga teachers and staff members will do our best to guide and support you during your time with us, however, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure your exercise, treatments and activities are suitable for your own personal health.
Lost Property
Items left at the Retreat can be posted to you once we return to the retreat. Should additional carriage costs be incurred, these will be passed on, plus postage.
Valuables
No responsibility can be accepted by the Retreat for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to the venue whether placed in a safe or not. If you do bring valuable items, it is essential they are covered by your own insurance for the period of your stay.
The Retreat is not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our guests.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We operate a ‘zero tolerance policy’ towards disruptive guests.
Any breach of our Retreat Guidelines or rude, abusive or offensive behaviour (towards guests or staff) may result in your immediate removal from the retreat without refund.

Additional terms may apply to specific services and these will be notified to you at the time of purchase.
